Topofon distributed through the App Store is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. This page does not replace that agreement or limit your statutory consumer rights. Warranties, liability and termination of the app license are governed by that agreement and applicable law.
You retain the rights you hold in your recordings, photos, notes and other content. Using the app does not transfer ownership or usage rights in that content to the operator. You must obtain any consent or permission needed to record and share content and respect other people’s privacy, copyright and other rights.
Logs are stored on your device or an external drive you choose. Topofon does not store recordings or logs on the operator’s servers or sync them to the cloud. Keep separate copies or exports of important material. Deleting the app, resetting a device, damage to storage or disconnection during recording can cause data loss.
Topofon supports iOS 26 or later. The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 26 or later and remotely controls recording on the paired iPhone. External and Bluetooth microphones must be available to iOS as recording inputs. Channel counts, sample rates and available features depend on the device, operating system and connection.
The app uses microphone, location and camera access when you grant the permissions required for a feature. Maps, address lookup and weather need an internet connection and external services. Location, heading and weather availability and accuracy depend on permissions, sensors, observation data and connectivity.
The Topofon Privacy Policy explains data handling and information sent to weather and map services. External services are also subject to their providers’ terms.
The app currently has no ads, accounts, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any separate paid product or feature will have its price and conditions disclosed and require your agreement to purchase.
